discorivoluzione. you got to get in to get out is a curatorial research project by Politecnico di Milano, Le Cannibale and PAC to reflect on what the current meaning of clubbing is, through a three-day exhibition and a museum that transforms into a disco for 72 hours.
discorivoluzione is an exhibition-event that recounts the results of a three-year research cycle, developed through the synergy of students and faculty of the interior design laboratory.
Three sections into which “discorivoluzione” is divided at PAC Milan, discodiorama, discoarcheologyand discoarchivio, critically rereading the clubbing scenario from 1960 to the present day, told through direct experience and a multiplicity of media and self-produced materials.

discodiorama presents eighteen discos selected for their expressive power and history, some told through memories (tangible and intangible) and testimonies, others still in full and militant activity. Places near and far, reproduced in as many paper theaters that stigmatize the events, stories and small great revolutions they produced.

discoarchaeology. The second section Discoarchoelogy is a thoughtful collection of fragments. Ephemeral objects, ordinary or exceptional, original and reproduced, which together draw a new archaeology to be reread according to new perspectives.

discoarchivio is a heterodox anthology of images, videos, documents, drawings and interviews about behaviors and actions related to the world ofclubbing. an archive composed of the personal research of more than one hundred and fifty students over three years and representing the visual universe of an anthropological and spatial system without boundaries.

Five disco-installations -dj station, dancefloor, privè, entrance, bar- designed by the students activated the PAC spaces during two musical evenings curated by Le Cannibale, which proposed a line up making both DJs and the audience.
