It is a dialogue between the works of media artist Matteo Tora Cellini and the space designer and curator Alberto Dapporto.
The dialogue occurs on parallel tracks but starts with a common narrative: the greek myth of cyparissus.
Cyparissus, Apollo's lover, was very fond of a deer, with whom he had a strong friendship, but during a hunting trip he mistakenly stabs it with a weapon, leading to its death. Out of the despair of the act, cyparissus is transformed into the cypress tree, hence the foundation myth.
The installation intends to put the visual works in display on digital screens, showing the mapping of sexual relationships, thus the theme of love, in 3D
The set recreates a space without using elements proper to interiors and it shapes on pre-processed and industrial elements, which allusively recreate archetypes such as the tree, the curtain, the waiting room, the voyeur's peephole, and the loveof a couple, in a composition of elements in conversation with each other, using their materiality and function to narrate this mythological tale.
